It was approved to send his full pay up to the 5th March.
His pay was stopped instead of refunding half.

57 Fisher (para 4) complains that he has suffered financial loss owing to the decision that it is unjust to deduct his salary for leave he was entitled to by length of service. He said more or less the same thing in 7/10572/14. I was then told that whether an officer's salary is commuted or not is not given on retirement; that officers are not entitled to have their salary (whether commuted or not) given.
It appears that when officers retire during half-pay, say half-pay leave, the exact date of retirement is put forward to decide. What a "Zöver" means at the beginning of clause 5, I don't know. He did receive salary up till the date of retirement. Officers retiring on half-pay do not get any pension. The (sometimes) lower salaries and the absence of overtime pay for officers in this standing are compensated by the grant of a pension.
In Eo/21726/14, good reasons are given for not paying my sister a greater gratuity than Laut.
Certainly, the grant of half-pay backdated under the Pension Minute is not applicable in this case, as we have already pointed out, since ill health, even though caused by overwork, cannot be regarded as injuries specifically attributable to the nature of his duty.
I submit this for consideration. He got help saying that officers are often put in a difficult situation, and some mention is made on such salary before retirement without having had this.
His remarks about overtime are a private benefit's punishment, an out-of-place side issue.
